I would like to insulate my garage that I had built a few years back, and after getting a few local quotes I reached out to the builder of my garage

For insulating and doing walls in a 30x40 here is what they proposed:
R-30 insulation for ceiling-$1,300
R-19 insulation and metal for walls-$3,200
-Add extra $450 for 8' plywood

All in for a little less than 5k.

Any questions I should ask? Right now i have no type of vapor barrier on the back side of the metal. They do put purlins every 2' and then run the insulation inside of that...

What type of building is this? Pole barn, red iron, stick?
What type of ceiling is in place or are they adding ceiling material?
Is this a truss roof? What truss spacing?
What kind of insulation material?
In batts or loose?
Or sprayed(?)
Is the plywood instead of the metal for the walls or for the ceiling or some other purpose?

We likely need more info to provide the best direction.
