I've installed a Hot Dawg propane heater that mounts to the ceiling in my garage and have installed the double wall exhaust through the ceiling in the shop and then going out the roof. The outside of the pipe doesn't get real hot but I was wondering what the proper distance/method that insulation can be put next to this exhaust where it goes through the ceiling in the attic. I've got fiberglass bats in the rest of the attic space. Thanks.
