Wanting to get the ball rolling on insulating my new 30x30x12 Metal building. Been looking at Foam It green DIY kits. Would this be my best option? I'm wanting to install aMrcool DIY a/c split system so I'd like it well insulated.

You have a new problem now. Was a thermal break tape installed between the sheets and the purlins and girts? Is this a red iron building or tube steel? Is there a reason it wasn't insulated when it was erected? The foam kits are very expensive and designed for small areas and repairs. Plus you have the problems with foam on steel.

Its a tube steel frame. They installed some foam bubble style "insulation" on backside of roof panels before installation. I opted against getting that bubble style on all the wall panels per the salesman recommendation. He said for the cost it was far far from impressive compared to when can be put in after the fact. Basically told me not to waste my money.

Bubble wrap is worthless. I don't know why anyone sells it. I would suggest rigid foam sheets. Are you going to finish the inside?

That was my thought exactly, but they insisted on the bubble wrapped roof due to roof condensation. I'm good with whatever is gonna do best. Yes, I plan on insulating, and then drywalling(considered plywood also) the inside.

My 30x30x12 was just erected. I opted for no bubble wrap insulation. I'm lining the inside with poly pro rigid foam insulation that has a radiant barrier. About $14 per sheet. So far I've got the roof and front wall done. I can post a pic this weekend. Waiting to do my wiring before I do all the walls. Once insulated, I plan to line the inside with OSB.

My building is being erected now and should be finished actually today. Which poly pro did you use? I'm in NC as well and did not want the bubble insulation and planned on batt insulation but was looking at foam board. I'm assuming you used some sort of spacer between the radiant barrier and the foam board?
Was thinking of gluing some 1x2 furring strips to the metal then the foam board to furring strips to make it more effective with the air pocket. Post a picture when you can would love to see it.

The foam board I'm using has radiant barrier (silver) on one side and a clear vapor?? Barrier on the other. It's called poly pro and my local lowes stocks it. I have applied the pieces directly to the metal siding with the silver radiant sid3 facing in. I'm in no way saying this is the correct way to do this but I've seen multiple others done the same way with good results.

Excuse the mess, still currently under construction.

Looks good but everything I've read is that it needs an air gap (at least a 1/2") to effectively work correctly. I believe it will obviously still insulate but the barrier will not be utilized due to it being adhered directly to the metal. I could be wrong tho as i'm still trying to learn as i'm used to stick built buildings and normal fiberglass insulation.

Yeah, I too have read that. I've read that it's fine both ways. I Just decided to do what was easiest and I know this method works as I've seen it first hand several times. I just keep telling myself, this is a low budget metal building and aside from spray foam which was out of the budget, there is no perfect method. I'm mainly concerned with the radiant heat in the summer more then warmth in the winter.

I'm on the verge of doing the same thing with rigid foam or another product like this.

Any issues with condensation in the summer? I'm in FL, so hot and humid. No plans to heat/cool, but I don't want my metal shaping tools dripping with condensation so I've got to avoid that at all costs.

I have a 24x32 stick built with Metal siding and roof. I have been looking for ways to insulate as in the summer the building gets extremely hot. I do not have a condensation issue now but want to make sure I don't get one either. I like the looks of this.
