I'm building a pole shed, 30x72, concrete flooring, may want to put heat to it some day. Question do I put insulation under the tin roof as I put the roof on (full ridge vent), so it doesn't drip moisture? Live in Wis. so weather 90 above to 25 below.

Thanks for the help

There are guys here beter qualified to answer your question about drip protection.

As for insulation, it's not too early to plan for the insulation below the slab and skirting of the slab.

Yes put insulation under the roof tin. Just as you said to keep the roof from sweating and dripping, and it will. Even if you plan to drop the ceiling, you still need some type of insulation up against the roof tin. Otherwise it will drip on your insulation on the drop ceiling. Depending on if you plan to drop the ceiling or not will depend on the thickness of the insulation you use under the tin.

I have a pole building and part is un-insulated. Usually in the early spring is when you get the dripping. Wish I had done the whole roof with 1/2" r board under the tin instead of just my heated end.......

1/2 " r board is just 1/2 foam insulation that has a paperlike backing on both sides. Some of the older stuff had foil backing on it.
