I have a 10 by 20 foot metal shed. It has 2x4 walls and roof. What would be the best way to insulate the shed? I will do the work myself. The cost I need to be low. But I live in Texas so it will be very hot in the summer. I will have to do a window cooling and heating unit. It will be a shop that I will be using the shed for building wood projects. Thanks for all of your help

Are you worried about solar heat gain or winter loss.
Your location is important, as well as your intended use.

Will there be a heat source in your shed?

More information from you will allow us to better help you.

A/C and heat from a window unit. I will be using it for wood shop and welding shop. I will be using it year around. I live in Texas Hill country. For summer it can get 105 in the summer and winter as Low as 30 degrees. I plan on and extending it to a total of 20 feet. And it is 8 feet wide now. It currently has wood floor. It has 2x4 studs in the walls

I just saw a video on YouTube of a woman using one of the spray foam kits on a small metal shed and it looked like it turned out pretty good.
