I'm sectioning off my shop. The long stall 14x32 will remain unheated and not insulated for who knows how long. To give my heater half a chance I walled off that area from the rest(28x28) Added sliding doors and will do my best to seal up and insulate the "warm" area.

So my question is do I need to cover the exposed insulation on the interior wall with sheetrock?(the cold side), I've sheetrocked the warm side.
Concerned about vapor barrier and the possibility of trapping moisture?

Over thinking this?:headscrat

You should have put a VB under the sheetrock on the heated side.

You don't need to sheetrock on the cold side, you don't want to add a VB on the cold side. Uncovered insulation is fine but could be messed up and make a mess.

I'm relying on the paper on the insulation as a vapor retarder as well as a nice layer of paint over my taped sheetrock.

One of my thoughts was to put up pegboard. That would keep it from falling out if bumped and be a good spot for my hub cap collection.

Oh, you used faced insulation, that is all the VB that was required in our climate.

Pegboard would be fine to protect the exposed glass on the backside. The insulation does not need to be enclosed by a wall to do its job. Consider an attic space where there is no wall on the top. The air within the glass batt is what provides the R-value.
