insulation questions

The roof of my garage is corrugated steel and the top outside is a patio. The garage isn't insulated at all so obviously it gets cold but the main issue is when its very cold and we have a warm day the concrete patio heats up but the garage is still cold and the corrugated steel is cold and it gathers LOTS of condensation.

Is there any type of insulation that you guys recommend for something like this. Or a good way to stop the condensation from happening?

If the condensation is forming on the side to the garage then spray closed cell foam on the underside is best solution.

I have the same situation in my basement in the room under the front porch which is concrete over the corrugated steel. I haven't done it yet , but I was thinking of getting one of the spray foam kits and spraying the underside of the metal with about an inch thick layer of foam. I'm not really worried about the insulation aspect, just something to eliminate the condensation.

I agree that closed cell spray foam is the best option here. Before you buy one of those kits, I would check for prices from a local contractor. The price is likely similar and you don't have to do any of the dirty work.
