First I'm a long time lerker .
Enjoy the site
Have a shed I'm regretting the contractor that did the work. Separate issue.
Questions about how to fix this what I consider wrong installation.
There is atleast a 4 inch gap between the Batts of insulation. 20241021_181529.jpg I slit the covering to show it .
How do I fix it?
Thanks

How are they attached?

If you can slide them over to close the gap that's one option. Another would be to get additional insulation, cut it 4" wide and fill.

There between the outside tin and the inside 2 1/4 × 2 1/4 galvanized tube
This is the option I was thinking of
Thank you

I'd tend to not worry about it. The only way you can check the entire job is slit along every wall and maybe at two different heights. Do you want to do that? Maybe there will be work benches, shelves etc to cover some of the patched slits?

Main concern is the big gap between the rolls of insulation where the cold air can transfer.

why not use a thermal camera and see what it shows? That is what I would do.

Cause this is at every seam of the insulation.
I'm sure it will show up on thermal.

That is some seriously crappy work. Call them and demand they fix this. If they don't comply, I'd be all over social media on them. They get enough negative reviews, they will move on fixing this issue. That's just plain ignorance on how to install the insulation.

That not even half of the stuff messed up .
Mostly just screws missing .
Not enough screws in the trim .
Screws to short.

My niece is a lawyer .
Have to give them so long to fix before pressing it in court.

To fix the gaps in your insulation, you can re-install the batts snugly, use spray foam to fill the gaps, or add more insulation where needed. Make sure to check for any moisture or vapor barrier issues. If you're looking to improve energy efficiency, you might be eligible for cavity wall insulation grants to help with the costs.
