Insulation Wooden Garage Door

Hello Fellas
I'm all set to heat the garage this winter had the electrician wire up a 220 outlet with 30 amp breaker.Now a neighbour and I both have wooden garage doors and are looking for insulation products to attach to the inside of the door to reatin the heat.Did any of you guy's buy kits?Or did you do something yourself.I though about attaching styrafoam or whatever that stuff is to the inside of the door but is that healthy?If any of you guys have pictures would really appreciate it

what about using the bubble wrap looking insulation, I have seen it a lowes and farm tech sells it online in many styles.

I had a friend that cut stryofoam to fill in the empty spaces, then put plastic sheets on top of that to hold them in place and "seal them in".

he also used spray foam to fill in the small areas around the edge of the stryfoam. worked better than nothing

If you decide to use styrofoam panels, allow for an airspace between the door and the panel. That airspace plays a significant role in the "R" value. Here's the install I did on my metal door in Florida, it's in post 5 of this thread: http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=70420
