Insulation

I am in the process of insulating my new garage. The garage is a 2x6 studed building with metal side and roof. I am rolling in insulation between the studs. The walls in the rafter area have the 2x4s "sideways" and I am unsure how to insulate that area. I have been thinking to put the pink foam nailed up there. What would you guys do?

I'd be concerned about attaching insulation directly under the roof, as it will hold moisture against the trusses and stringers. Seems to be the right way to do it is build a ceiling, insulate above it, and make sure you have vents of some kind to let air flow occur.

Certainly that's not the answer you are looking for.

Maybe others will chime in with more experience.
