Just had a 30x45x12 metal building installed and they wrapped entirely with the bubble reflective radiant barrier stuff then installed sheet metal. Looking at installing some kind of insulation to this for heating and cooling the building with a 3 ton gree ductless unit when needed. I was thinking about rigid foam and cut to fit between metal purlins from inside and taped with reflective tape and/or then installing the prodex stuff over the interior purlins as a thermal barrier.Wondering if anyone has done this or will this work.

Sounds like a well detailed planned project that can't be added to. Congrats on the new steel building.

My main concern is condisation on the metal purlins with using the rigid foam. May just use the prodex stuff and wrap the entire inside under the purlins. just not sure of how good the insulating power will be.

cex, you are correct to be concerned with the metal framing not being insulated. With that bubble wrap being compressed where the siding meets the purlins, girts and bridging its R-value is basically nothing. With steel stud framing (instead of the Purlins & Girts your building uses), this results in a whole wall loss of R-value of ~60% (http://web.ornl.gov/sci/roofs+walls/research/detailed_papers/thermal_frame/) or more depending on the framing factor of the wall.
