Hello. I live in SW Ohio. We get our share of snow in the winter. I had a metal garage built this year. I am framing the inside of it up, and running electric. I have my TV, coffe pot, VCR recorder, fridge out here and I will probably be taking them inside the house this winter when it gets cold, because I don't plan on heating the garage all winter. Probably a kerosene heater or a small wood stove when I am out here from time to time in the winter. But, a question I get asked often is, "Am I going to insulate the building?" I am putting "Smartsiding" (OSB outdoor siding) on the inside as I frame it up, but I don't think insulation would be a good idea because the metal outside skin might sweat. (I am not cooling it in the summer.) So, I am just leaving a gap between the outside metal and the inside walls. I will probabl be putting some type of ceiling in it. Any thoughts or opinions on this matter? Thanks.
