That seems to be an Eaton compressor, based on the Eaton sticker in one of the photos.

Their web site shows the current equivalent 7.5 hp, 80 gallon, single phase compressor has a higher delivery, ie 31 scam, and runs from around $3200 to $5200, depending on options, ie air dryer, etc.

Thats eaton cutler hammer. Not related to eaton/polar compressor that is based in Eaton PA.

You’re right.

The pump sort of looks like one of the imported from Italy pumps (Atlas Copco?) that a lot of smaller manufacturers buy. I have a similar pump on an old Rand machine. I gave something like $300 for it with a new 5 hp motor years ago.

Eaton made the starter and the motor looks like a farm duty Baldor not what I call a screamer that most come with now.

Pro Point is Princess Auto upscale line. They should have the compressor or current equivalent on their website.

If you can settle for 125 psi, and you can get the insurance co. to cover it, go for a rotary scroll comp. The difference in noise is hard to describe!

Our I-R 5 hp sits about ten feet away from my desk in the shop. It doesn't bother me at all when it's running. Our ancient DeViBliss piston comp, OTOH, startles the hell out of me every time it starts and sounds like a long-drawn-out trainwreck while running. It's a back-up and rarely used.

That appears to be a two stage air pump, and the specs I see listed back this up (the 21.2 CFM delivery at 175 psi isn't that much lower than the 22.1 CFM at 100 psi). Furthermore, the link that @MacMcMacmac posted looks like this air pump, and it's a two stage.

That appears to be a pretty capable compressor. Don't settle for a single stage replacement.

What he said. Don't settle for anything less than the air volume you currently have, especially if you use it.

If the compressor only saw smoke damage if they're not paying for full replacement cost use the money to have a shop service it. A new motor and magnetic starter is a fraction of the cost of a new compressor.

Assuming this is after the fire, that is cleaner then most shops I've seen:
