Intake Louver

I installed a 24x24 exhaust fan in the peak of one of the gable ends of my 36x50 shop. I usually open a man door or overhead door to provide intake air when I turn it on. I'm thinking it would work better if I installed an intake louver on the other gable end to pull the air across the shop rather than up from the bottom. I'm not sure what type of intake louver to put up there. I've seen manual & electric options. Being that its about 20' up to the peak, and above a mezzanine, I'm not leaning towards the manual option. Oh yea, being that it will be located above my "man-cave", it needs to be 100% waterproof. Any suggestions?

Also thinking about wiring it into a thermostat, so that it kicks on at a certain temp. Thoughts?
