Anyone buy a gauge from this company recently?

I purchased a 4" glow in the dark air pressure gauge after reading good reviews on this forum.
Was under the impression they were made in the USA, as indicated by their website/photographs.

Gauge shows up the other day and no COO markings anywhere. Contacted intercomp and they stated their gauges are "made by a german company" :dunno: Seems like I may have spent a pretty penny for some middle manned global components BS, but I hope that is not the case.

I looked at the Intercomp web site and their mechanical gauges appear to be made by Wika, THE major German gauge manufacturer.

I have an older Intercomp 3.5" and it's an Ashcroft gauge and says "Made in USA"

It's possible your gauge was made in Germany, but I think the regular mechanical gauges are made in Wika's Lawrenceville, GA plant. Decent quality. I wouldn't worry.

As with all mechanical gauges, don't drop it!

Intercomp doesn't give an accuracy spec, so it's safe to assume it's the industry standard 3/2/3 accuracy. 3% of full scale in the bottom and top third, 2% full scale in the middle third.
So on a 60 psi gauge it would be ±1.8 psi, ±1.2 psi, ±1.8 psi.
