Hi folks!
Just suffering from the usual lack of employment for the first extended period in my life. Found this site while searching for a replacement part and it looks very worthy of spending some of my apparently worthless time on.
I have spent more than 20 years repairing tools of most kinds. Gas, Electric, Pneumatic, hydraulic and powder actuated. I have attended a rather large quantity of factory schools for many manufacturers of lawn and garden equipment and tool manufacturers and spent countless hours doing repair and service for them. If something doesnt' seem to go together right I will try my best to help you figure it out.
It has been about 3 years since I was fully/gainfully employed but there are a couple of threads that might stitch together and provide a job. This will severly limit my time and ability to help quickly but I will always try to do what I can to help.

Welcome. I read your post on the soldering gun. You will be a big hit here on the GJ. Maybe you can start up a mail order business for tool repair. Small tools ship cheap, gas is expensive and a lot of folks live far away from a repair shop.

Should keep you in pin money anyway.
