I don't know if anyone else watches Tubalcain's Youtube videos (he does a lot of machining and tool videos) but he just featured a pretty cool 2" x 72" belt sander.
It looks like a pretty handy tool, with some useful attachments.

That's an amazingly versatile design. I wonder what it would cost? He's only built 3 he said?

Needs some better skills in welding, that base and tube was a mess. He fumbles around machine shop for sure...

He based it off of Jermey Schmidt's design.

He has several more videos on some of the accessories and tables he has built for it.

I used some of his ideas on the design for the one I am building.

I'm ashamed to be associated with people who would make comments like these.

These guys are putting themselves out there to pass along ideas and knowledge for free.

Constructive criticism is good, comments like these are waste of bandwidth.

Didn't someone on here build a belt grinder kinda similar to that one? I remember seeing a post about them somewhere.
