Interesting CL Vise (not mine)

I thought this vise was interesting, figured i'd share for the vise folks on the forum. He lists it as a "railroad vise." No name or weight and the rear jaw moves. Very interesting base. I'm no vise expert, but seems unique.

Is it just me or does it look like it only has 4-5" wide jaws?

They're different, but I've seen similar ones before. $1200 on ebay is a joke. $100 is just a high price, imo. If I were in the area and seen it for sale, I'd walk away on anything over $40.

That's pretty neat. I want to say that I've seen pictures of one like that posted on this forum before. I'd consider picking it up for $50, but $100 would probably be pushing it. Although, I don't need another vise. If I needed one, I don't see $100 being unreasonable!
