My wife always over fills our totes, so I doubt after she was done with them I could lift them up to the slides. :lol_hitti

needs labels on the bottom as well as the side of the tote.

Overall I like it. Would be usefull for relatively light items that dont get used regularly. Maybe seasonal decorations?

Not a bad idea. Install them high, store valuables, hide the ladder. Crackheads would run out of dope trying to figure how to get up there.

I recall someone here posting pictures of a similar system they built in their garage. It would be fine for stuff that is seldom used like Christmas decorations, but probably a pain for anything you had to access frequently.

It looks like a family handyman photo..
I think I would go with hyloft or saferacks type system, that way you are not forced to buy beefy storage crates, which would cost upwards of $15-$25 each. Plus you can store other long items up there.
