Just by the way the seller wrote the ad, I can tell the type of person they are. The price isn't laughable.

Yeah I just did a quick google search and you are correct sir. They are quite popular. I guess $350 is a good price then.

I ordered a new one a week ago. I can't wait until it comes in! It is a mobile tool cart, storage, quality metal construction, and it is mobile for when I go to the track

If it’s just surface rust I would definitely pick it up. Most people clean them up and repaint it.

If you need a tool cart these are very handy and compact. There’s also a couple of accessories you can attach like a lamp, a stool, hose reels, and dividers to separate the drawers. They are beautifully designed.

Also there’s a big following of them here on GJ if you decide to ever get rid of it.

Not my cup of tea. I can see how it could be useful if you are working on your car lying down on the ground and you don't want to open any tool box drawers.

$350 is not the world's best deal, and certainly not the worst. New they approach 2k delivered to the states, used they are mostly in the $500 range.

I have two that I use and I think I got the better one on cl for $50 and the lesser one on eBay for $150. Both of those were screaming deals.

I really love them as a cart, but do use my Snap On cart for the tools, relegating the Hazet to parts removed, or to be installed. The density is just higher on the Snap On with Hansen Socket trays.

I'd say $350 is a good price, if it's in good shape.

It's not as convenient to use as a "normal" toolbox with drawers. But it keeps your tools organized, is flexible to configure the way you want, has a surface at table height to set stuff on and collapses down to a size that easily fits into a car trunk.

I had one of my most successful buy and sell flips with a hazet tool box. I jumped on it as soon as I saw "old blue toolbox" for $20. I knew it was a hazet. After hanging on to it a few weeks thinking about it I sold it for $300 almost in minutes after correctly listing it for what it actually was to a vw/porsche nut. The guy that bought it sent his friend, told him to haggle but ultimately pay whatever it takes which was the asking price. It was a cool box, not $280 cash cool to me though.

Not sure I'd jump on those for $350 but they're a rare sight and as others mentioned not cheap to buy new.

I think they are super cool, but don't have any experience with them.

The layout looks awesome for sorting what you take off the car while working.

I sold one last year via GJ to a person across the state.FedEx did the delivery. Similar condition as the CL one ,buyer was happy at $400+ shipping cost IIRC was $35

Back in the early 80's I worked at an import car dealership that sold a half dozen or so different European brands. One old guy there had a box like that that looked like it had been dragged through a war. The parts department also used one to stock parts in the parts room with.

When I was a kid, my grandfather had a similar cart in his wood shop, he got it from a buddy of his that retired where he worked. It was red and had a different brand on it. The trays had less dividers and they were fixed in place. He worked for an oil refinery and retired in the late 60's. The cart he had was in rough shape, someone had made a wooden wheel for one side and the casters were now shopping cart casters with studs bolted to a piece of oak plank bolted through the bottom tub. The thing had rust holes in it that had been patched, and the top had a piece of steel cut from an old Stop sign riveted to it to make it a flat surface. After he passed, my grandmother took it and used it for years in the yard for her garden till it rotted away to nothing.
