Interesting multi screwdriver

I found this muti blade screwdriver in the ReStore today and haven't seen one like it before. The handle holds six different blades, three slotted, three Phillips. They deploy by lining up the orange cap with the desired blade, sliding it out then sideways in the cap slot and then back into the hex receiver in the center of the handle. It's a sturdy weighty piece not cheesy feeling, and the drivers are all in good shape so I figured I could use another screwdriver anyway. I can't read the rubbed off label and wonder if anyone here can ID the tool or manufacturer?

Bryson, thanks for the info. I tried "WE, WO", but didn't think to try a number, 'W6'. And Wilton slipped my mind, too. It doesn't really change anything because it's still a well made useful screwdriver, it's just nice to know who was responsible.

Funny, I've had one of those for about 30 years. I bought it in Japan while living there. It was sold as a System driver 6.
The patent was originally issued to JPW industries.

I've got one also. Still use it occasionally. I think I bought it years ago, maybe in the 80's, at Sears.

I had one of those, also bought from Sears but in the late 90's. I wanted to like it, kept it in my car, but that thing was garbage, eventually broke the tip off every single bit.

IIRC this one was the redisgned version, there was a older one called the same thing but looked different.

Haven't seen that. Would beat the old problem of losing pieces. I wish I had a dollar for every bit I have lost. One thing I have liked about these screwdrivers is that the slotted drivers are often hollow ground. HG is much better than standard, fits screws tighter.

I still have that multi screwdriver. Bought at sears hometown store in the early 90’s for $10. It has three phillips tips and three slotted tips
Survived this long never leaves my 2nd floor office desk. Saves a trip to basement shop.

I have one as well, its the same. I love it, I keep it in my backpack with me all the time. Mine is way more used now and it would be nice to find a replacement. There is a Switz Tool System version but it doesn't look like it has that top lock to keep the other bits from falling out. I know the system snaps in place but mine has been used so much for the past 35 years that it rotates freely and the lock is more of a problem as it also freely spins now. I keep getting bits sliding out when trying to use mine as the lock just rotates at the worst possible time. I still love it and wish someone would remake them the exact same way just update some of the internals so the wear and tear is less. A ratcheting option would be nice to but I feel it would make it bulky. I think I love the fit of the handle the way it is. That's actually the best part having a device like this but still feel like a normal handle driver with 6 bits that are just there when you need them.
