This is part of a collection I picked up from a locomotive plant that closed down.
It's a '24" Keystone' by The Keystone Mfg. Co. Buffalo, NY. There is a small cap at the end of the long handle that reverses directions.
All I've been able to find is some catalog pages referring to it as a Giant Railroad Track Ratchet.
It looks like someone has grafted on a dedicated 1" drive socket for their own purposes -- a number of the tools from this place were like that.
Anyway, it drew a little attention in my other post, so I'm sharing what I have! If anyone can explain why it has this top to it, I'd be interested to hear.
