Its literally on everything as a blanket statement. Apparently nearly every single thing on earth causes cancer according to CA.

The problem with this kind of warning is that it's so common place that people learn to ignore it and that's just as bad as not having a warning, because now people don't see real hazards

Exactly.

Might want to inform those label slappers that CA does not stand for CANCER.

It is bewildering that Arnold cannot be blamed for this.

"When they start going into the food store, and labeling the food with a prop 65 label, we will all know that we are doomed"
They don't need to do that, there is actually a sign at the front door saying "This store sells items that are know to the state of California to cause cancer." The first time I saw it I stopped, said "hmmm...." , and then walked on in to the store..........:dunno::lol::lol_hitti

When I was visiting CA regularly to check on Dear Old Dad, I used the Starbucks inside the Safeway grocery store for my internet and caffeine fix.

The Starbucks had a Prop 65 warning where they put the finished drinks for customer pick-up. Apparently when roasting coffee beans, some of the transformations due to the roasting process create hazardous chemicals.

I suppose the printing on the cups was hazardous due to the ink--or the chemicals used to turn trees into paper.
