I found this interesting Walker Turner DP on FB. The base is what caught my eye. I assume it's cast iron, and HEAVY. If it were closer and cheaper (asking $200) I might be a player. Ever seen one like this?

Can't be quite sure from the pix, but its probably one of their radial drill presses. Think of it as a cross between a radial arm saw (radio alarm saw) and a drill press. It had the ability to move in and out and tilt right or left as well as a very large cast iron table to work on. If the ask is 200, its well worth it, they are rare as hens teeth.
On a second look, it may be a gang drill press where they take two machines and mount them to a common base. They were popular in manufacturing since you could have each head set up for a different job.
IIRC a word of caution about old WT presses, they used some nonstandard bearings that may be hard to source today.

On closer observation, it does look like there is a second DP head behind the one that shows in the pic. One problem is that it's in TN on the other side of the mountains. Normally a three hour drive, the interstate that you take isn't there any more, thanks to Helene. I'm not even sure what roads ARE open to get over that way. We took our Miata up into the mountains to leaf peep last week, and all of our favorite twisty roads are closed.

That is a two-head gang drill. I have the Walker-Turner radial drill that shares the same cast iron base. W/T built sturdy well-made machines. If this one hasn't suffered serious damage by being dumped on its side, it would be a worthwhile project for the right price.
