Sidchrome was an Aussie made tool until Stanley bought them now Taiwan tools sold in Australia. There is an old youtube video showing production from when they were Aussie owned and made. Like the Brits except King **** all tools are imported I hope it doesn't happen here.

Made in Melbourne or Adelaide from i believe the 1930s til around 1996. Bought by Stanley who ceased production here and moved off shore.
They made wrenches, ratchets, sockets and a few other bits and pieces.
