Interior Design/Layout Help

Alright guys, here is a copy of the plans for my pole barn. I will be using for a home/farm shop. Basic fabricating, vehicle maintenance, farm equipment repair. the building will be 50'wide, 40'deep, 16' interior height. No plans for a lift. Concrete floor with radiant heat. Need ideas on tool storage, bench, compressor, drill press, etc. locations.

You certainly have a blank canvas!

Are you sure you don't want at least 1 layer of concrete block to seperate the floor from the wood? I like the hardiness to keep water off the wall, as well as critters from digin thru and getting inside.

I know it's more difficult with the framing your doing though.

Great detail. As for a bench. You will be limited with the distance since you plan to working on farm equipment which could be full shop length so the only option would be on the side wall, which you have left yourself plenty of room (6 feet) from the door openings.
I have my stationary bench / tools on the side of my 40'x60' shop and will be using a rolling cart to fill with the tools needed and roll it to the lift put the tools back when done. This roller cart will be easier to manage under the lift than a large rolling toolbox.
