Thanks, but don't want to build a shed; taxes will go up and not a good place to put it.

Yup, will take taxes up because its an improvement and considered another building on the property. One way around it is to put it on wheels, then its a trailer. I'm looking at a way to do that possibly. Also, you need to do a survey etc showing the shed is truely on your property, so many feet of right-of-ways, etc. So, for now, lets rule out a shed.

LoL.. Can't offer any advice but your comment about a trailer brought back an old memory. Auto body shop I was the service manager at for several years back in NH specialized in Chrysler products and did ALOT of business selling used parts. He would buy wrecks at the salvage auctions and fix a few to sell and part out the rest. All of this under some obscure law that allows auto body shops to dispose of extra parts by selling them and allows a certain number of "parts cars" to be kept on the property. Basically he was running an all Chrysler salvage yard without the hassles accociated with a salvage license. All around the edges of the property were tractor trailer boxes full of engines, transmissions, small parts, etc. Every one of them was sitting flat on the ground to make it easy to move things in and out of them but the wheels & tires were still on them buried in trenches under the trailers.... They were also painted camo to blend in with the woods. He couldn't be taxed on them because they weren't permanent buildings. Folks in the central NH area will probably recognise the shop I'm referring to.
