Hey guys,
I just found this forum and I'm glad I did!! I rent a shop in Maryland that I run my business out of and I'm looking for some ideas on what color to paint the interior to brighten it up some. I'm all about a vintage look (1940s) and I've found some amazing shops that are being restored on here, but I'd like to know if any of you have any suggestions on a cheap paint scheme that would fit this bill but still have an antique flavor to it.

Thanks in advance!
Adam

Bright white gloss with a red or blue stripe at the 5 foot level about 10" wide around the perimeter of the shop..

Garage is one of the most overlooked spaces in the home. Generally, It can be unpainted and dirty. So, it is very important to keep it clean and look more attractive. Good interior paint can make it very beautiful and cool.

My walls are 14 feet tall. Up 4 feet is grey, then a 6 inch bright red horizontal stripe, then white to the ceiling. The white is bright and light reflective. The grey hides dirt and scuffs. The red stripe sets it off and my electrical receptacles are every 8 feet in the red stripe.

Nice! I was worried about the scuff marks near the floor. That's a good idea. I really like the idea of the stripe. Thanks for everyone's input!!!!!
