Interior Wall and Outlet/Switch Question

This might have been discussed already but I'm not sure what to search for to find it. Either way.

Just got a 2x6 stud framed metal building up and planning my electrical installation and I need some input related to outlets and light switches.
I have considered for the interior using white metal for the walls and ceiling. I would like to run my electrical service through the studs like, for example, one would for a house and what I can't get worked out in my head is what to do with the outlets or switches if they end up being located in one of the ribs of the metal.

Does anyone have a good solution or suggestions for this?

Is it too hard to plan ahead about where the ribs might land in relation to your electrical boxes?
How far apart are the ribs relative to the flat areas?

Maybe rethink your desire to have the wiring inside the walls and instead use surface mount conduit. That’s what I did with my open stud walls. Conduit gives the ability to easily modify and add new connections.

I'm not sure about this code wise, but it seems you could use metal boxes and place them so the edge of the box is level with the high part of the rib. You will need tight fitting covers possibly with gaskets. If you are allowed to do this, you can avoid surface mounted conduit.

And if that won't fly, why can you use the same boxes fully surface mounted? They could be fed from the back putting the wires in the wall.

When people hang light fixtures on ribbed siding they use an adapter.
