Interior walls for steel building?

I'm trying to make my final decision this week pole barn vs. steel building. Pole barn is spec'd at 30x40x15, Freedom Steel building at 32x40x14 (clear span) and the steel looks like it's going to come in a decent bit cheaper depending upon how much my contractor wants to put it up (if I can't get a decent number from him, I'm borrowing a fork lift from work and doing it myself which will be even cheaper). Obviously finishing the interior walls of a pole barn is a no brainer, but what do you do with a steel building? Do you have to frame out walls? And what do you do about installing your electrical (outlets, light switches) without finished walls? Figured I'd try to get some firsthand experience since it seems like there's a few folks around here who have steel buildings. Thanks.

Our metal Bldg is an Outback. Drywall company used 1 inch tall metal hat sections-fastened those on 2 foot centers to the beams and girts etc with sheet meatal screws and then hung the drywall on them. Peace of cake.. Walls and ceiling both. Our 1,200 square foot garage with divided bay (extra wall) took a pro crew exacty 2 full days from start to finish-and that was 5/8 rock taped and mud and textured by hand.

I too am debating on a steel building or pole barn, I thought I was all set on a steel building and erecting it myself, but just the other day got some info in the mail from a local pole building company, so I would feel like I cheated myself if I didn't look into them also, so now I am looking. I have seen many different ways to finish the interior of a steel building, and my favirite on here is "The Garage Mahal" search for that to see the images, but that wasn't really a normal steel building as it used wood girts and etc, and I thought about just doing the same but with steel studs...

Thanks guys, that helped alot. Better to see what others have done than to wing it and reinvent the wheel. Getting ready to head over to meet with the contractor and show him the sample plans...may end up just having him put up the main supports and anchor them to the concrete then do the rest myself and use his garage door guy when it's time to put the overheads in.

Excellent...that's along the lines of what I was thinking for coverage, don't need to finish the entire height of the walls or even all of the walls. I'll probably just do the back wall and one sidewall.
