Hello All,
I just joined the Journal and am already finding helpful info.
I recently purchased a 30 x 40 pole barn, un finished interior walls, no insulation and with a rough finished concrete floor. I live in the central midwest so we have changing seasons and I want to be able to use my pole barn year round.
I have begun installing 6" batt insulation, slowly, as I am still installing electrical outlets, compressed air pipes, plumbing, etc before I start putting in finished walls and ceiling.
THIS,,,,, is my question. I want finished walls but not necessarily steel panels as the groves and ridges will make difficult work for shelving etc. I dont particularly care for OSB, and I also want to make sure at least the first 3 - 4 feet up will withstand water etc if I want to hose the floor.
Open to suggestions on wall panels or covering and ALSO any suggestions or thoughts on economical heating.
Look forward to your comments, Thanks!
