I have a Intermatic K4321 photo control that controls one outside light. The light never goes off. I don't see anything blocking the sensor within few feet. But there are some plants/bushes 5 to 6 feet away from it. I do see something that appears to be a little bit of condensation type of thing and the it looks a bit "foggy". Could the sensor be bad? Any way to test it using a multimeter?

Not sure if this thing ever worked - we just moved into this property few months ago and it has been like this since the beginning.

If the photocell controls the light and the light is stuck on, the photocell is bad. You don't need to meter anything.

Of course, I've had a customer paint over a photocell before too and then call because the lights were stuck on.:wtf:

It may have failed, replacing it may be the only thing you can do.
