I'm moving pretty slow here, but I'm starting to get some things done here. I used tin for the bottom 3'. I'm planning on doing plywood above that. It's 8.5' to the beam above where my wall is framed. I'll need to get plywood in 9' length to get to that beam.
Should I frame above the current framing, or just install the plywood and fasten it to the beam at 8.5'?
The plywood will be 6" above the beam, is that a problem?
Also, where the tin and the plywood meet, I'd like to do something to join the two. I'm thinking about doing something different. It's just a new idea today, but it might not last. I was thinking of breaking it up with some type of car part, or airplane part. Possibly V.W. running boards? any thoughts? It's just an idea, it might not live long.
