I finally got everything I was waiting for, so I thought I would show off my full set up.....Unfortunately I don't have as many combo wrenches as Pipster!:bounce:

I tried straighting the top box today...no luck...I am fine with it now...its just a tool box right!

Screwdrivers...notice my improvised holder....it an Cmans wrench tray, I got tired of all the screwdrivers moving from the box hard detents:

Bondus T-handles:

My small wrench collection!

Ratchets etc. All except but two were bought new(Little SK and Craftsman 1/2 that came with a set...All the good ones were bought used...I love used tools!

Socket drawer is nice a big, but doesn't fit the trays evenly:

Small drawers are nice and big

Bottom little drawers:

Bottom drawers are big enough to hold some of my power tools (not all shown):

Right now I have some room to spare so I have my MX parts in the bottom.

I am happy with my set up...big step up from my Craftsman steel glide cheapy. It does have some cheap things about it...the drawer liners that it came with are all starting to look old and the drawer detents are annoying...but all small stuff considered I paid a total of $546 for the whole thing. That part makes me smile!

$550 is great for that top/bottom combo. I had an epiphany, I might get rid of the detents altogether and put magnets in.

You need more tools now, also they need to get used!! :)

Personally I like my International tool box, love that it's made in Canada and not China, and plan on keeping it for a long time. It's right at the quality level and size that I need.

Yes...yes....It the middle of winter right now and I only go out there as long enough as I have to. They will get plenty of use when it warms up. I agree they are to pretty!

I do need more tools but for some reason my wife doesn't thinks so. :lol_hitti
I still have more to get on my list...which she doesn't know about!

I do actually like my box a lot. I purposely chose it over HF because it was made in Canada and I didn't want to give HF that kind of money...fine for little things....just me though. I also like it because it give me room to grow and it didn't kill my bank account. It won't sit empty for long...I need some more wrench's! Either way its a huge step up from this thing!

Please keep me updated on what you do for your detents...that is the one thing that is bugging me.

Okay, a quick update. I just heard from Sears and they are honoring the 30% off as advertised. So I'm getting the 56" Bottom roller and top chest for just about $1300 even. That price includes Tax and shipping!

I really had to work for it though. I even went as far as a BBB complaint!

Do all Costcos carry International Tool boxes? I went to the Costco near my town and they had no International Tool Boxes there.

No only the Canadian ones....at least that's my understanding. I have never seen an International box in my Costco and I am there at least once a week.

Bringing back an old thread i know.... My local Snap on guy had the International 56" like above someone posted on page 2 in black. he was going to let it go for 650. I looked it over and to me it just seems very flimsy. The lock wouldn't wok properly and the drawers side to side were moving alot. IDK if its just a beginner model or what. I was able to move the Metal side of the draw with my finder back and forth probably an inch. I passed on it.
