Does anyone have the Interro PDA/ OTC Vision/ Matco Insight user manual?
I want to know how the secondary probe setup.
It has red alligator clip, which is not the ground wire.
It seems there is a way to short the conventional ignition coil for cylinder drop test or cranking test.

For crank amp or relative compression test:
Yellow--> Current Clamp for current amp
Sync ---> Sync clamp for rpm
Sec-----> For shorting coil a few second so it won't start?
Prim----> Maybe to measure battery vlotage?
GND----> Negative Ground

Can someone scan the pages or show picture to setup for Cylinder Efficiency
and Cranking Amps test.

As I remember it, the red clamp on the secondary probe goes to battery positive post and the primary (green) lead goes to the negative side of the ignition coil. This is for a distributor ignition with external coil. AES was a dealer for Interro way back when. They could answer your questions.

That make sense for coil shorting/ disable spark.
So the Prim(green) is used for both measuring primary voltage and grounding coil. Input and output on the same wire:headscrat

The user manual is a big binder book. I can never find a pdf version on the internet. It would be much better if someone can scan some pages.

The OP probably won't see this or need it since it's an old topic but if anyone is searching for this information, here it is.

I will scan in the whole manual eventually.
