Greetings all... I discovered this forum a short while ago & have enjoyed browsing through some great threads and incredible garages. I have a few Porsches, a couple of BMW's and couple of Mercedes (and a few storage units to house the ones that don't fit )....

Here are a few pictures of the 40' x 22' attached that I have recently 'enhanced'. Still much to do, but I'm enjoying the process / progress & hanging out.

Thanks for the welcome's...

The flooring is a great product called Mylec Dekmat. The nice thing about it is that it is comprised of 3" x 12" sections, which allows you to easily un-snap a large area, roll it up and clean underneath whenever necessary.

As I live in MI, the garage is both heated and air conditioned (just did the a/c this spring & it's fantastic). More to do, but its a nice place to hang out.

Welcome, and thanks for sharing. Man that maroon P-car brought back memories for me. I used to have a neighbour who had that car and i used to love hearing the engine ease down towards his house and also when he would leave. Beauty! Something about the bulbyness of that car works soooo well.

Sorry for the slow reply all - was traveling this week...

Here are a couple of close ups of the Mylec Dekmat - this is one 3" x 12" section (top & bottom):

I think someone above asked for more pictures of the cars; here's the current stable!

Just sold.....

Your 993 is perfection. the rest of your collection is outstanding as well.
What is the story on the benz coupe? Looks like some serious fender flares.

I love all of this

What is the story on the W124 coupe? Looks to have some pretty serious fender flares... I know of a very similar one with the same Brabus wheels that has a Turbonetics setup with the otherwise stock M104 engine.

I am curious about the coupe as well? Is it a 300CE (or was it originally) or something else - the 500E Sedan is really rare in that body style. Nice stable.

Sorry for the mix of picture sizes above... On most of the forums I subscribe to, the images are automatically resized to keep everything uniformed.

Thanks for the compliments! As you may have already guessed, I like German cars.

The 993 turbo was something that I'd wanted since I first saw it displayed on Porsche's stand at the Earl's Court Auto Show (1994) in London. I spent 2 years searching for this color combination (Arena Red / Black) as the majority of the Arena Red cars imported to the US had either gray or cashmere interiors. It's a superb car & I've done quite a lot to it (the speedline wheels that I had built are the only set in existence).

The W124 coupe is the result of an itch that I had to scratch.... Kudos to those of you that noticed the modifications. I always loved the W124 500e, though always wished that the factory (and Porsche) had built a 2 door version. After finding a great base car, along with 2.5 years at my MB specialist shop, we ended up with (in my opinion anyway) a great representation of what the factory may have done. Many OEM/AMG parts (500E front fenders/modified AMG bumper) were used, though most of the work was hand crafted. It was a labor of love that took too long to complete. Once it was done, I just didn't have the same feelings. Oh - it has a twin turbo straight 6 as the 500E V8 would have added too much weight in the front.

The 911 project is another 'itch'... I LOVE classic wide body 911's! Should be done in the next month or 2. It's being built by a fantastic Porsche specialist in NorCal.

I didn't see before that the W124 coupe was sold! The guy that bought it is a fellow Porsche/Benz fanatic and posts regularly on another forum.

I too love German cars... I have an E30, Benz W115, W124, C36 AMG, Porsche 986, 996 (gone) and my pride and joy... '67 912.

My collection is mostly torn apart, awaiting new engines, paint, or parts I can't afford at the moment. Your garage and collection are very inspiring!

Yep - Jon is a bonafide automotive junkie... My coupe could not have gone to a better person & he's already taking it to the next step...

Thanks again for the positive compliments!
