Greetings and thank you for making this place available!
I'm retired, living in rural Skagit Co WA. and mainly a woodworker. Although I do enjoy pounding, bending and sticking pieces of iron together from time to time.
A while back I bought and old (don't know how to date it) Hollands 53 1/2 bench vice. Of course this was well before I had access to the wealth of information regarding purchase of a used vice but that's spilt milk so not whining intended.
I've got the beast dissasembled and starting the resto. I'd like to post photos and get some feedback but I'm just getting acquainted with the board so perhaps the moder-dudes/dudettes can point me to the proper forum where I should begin my oddesy.
