Hello everyone. I've been a lurker for about a year. I like seeing everyone's ideas and garages/shops.
I'm a Machinist/Millwright currently setting up a Tool Room and will be managing it for a Oilfield related Tool Manufacturing Company. I've built 3 houses one summer as part of a crew which taught me a lot about building. I built a log home when I lived in the states. Built a few garages along the way for my self and helped friends.
We live about 20 mins east of Edmonton, Alberta near Cooking Lake. I built our current home. It started off as a shop and garage while we lived in a trailer across the yard on 20 acres. One day the light bulb went off and I added on to the garage and made it home. It's just under 1400 sq. ft with in floor heating. Also has a nice Aurora wood stove to help heat in the winter.
I'm hoping to build another garage/man-cave this summer so I want to ask for some advice and ideas.
