Intro

Hello, I've been lurking on here for a while now, but since I'm getting ready to start on my own garage build I figured I should do an introduction post... I've learned a ton from the forum over the last few years, there really is a wealth of information on here!

I'm in Southern Maine with my wife and 2 boys (3 and 6) and am building a 30x50 building to house our antique fire truck, provide a workshop, and most importantly to have a party bar/man cave in the back of the building. We can't wait to get building!

Welcome, I am new here too. How exciting, a new garage...and a big one too! I imagine living in Maine, you need a lot of storage space to keep your stuff out of the elements. Having a place to get out of the house, for your mancave has to be a plus too.

Yeah definitely! Our old house was my "bachelor house" and the basement was a huge bar/mancave. When we moved to this house three years ago, the basement became my office and the kid's playroom...

We're both excited to have some dedicated "adult" space again!
