Time for a brief intro. After casually reading for more than a year, I signed up back in 6/2006 but just now getting around to reading / posting on a semi-regular basis.
In the fall of 2003, we moved into our newly constructed home featuring a 24x36 3-car attached garage. My only regret regarding my garage is that I did not discover this site prior to making some of the key decisions!
Primary use of the garage is cleaning / maintaining our day to day vehicles as well as a variety of FF1600 cars I have owned.
Short term garage goals (within the next year)
Rent a floor polisher to "refresh" my single coat epoxy floor.
Add some type of additional decoration. Pretty plain at the moment.
Relocate my sprinkler system box. Not pleased with it's current location / installation.
Add a electrical reel drop.
Long term garage goals (within the next 5 years)
Modine! I have a natural gas drop just waiting for the purchase.
Refinish floor. Will go with at least 2 coats of epoxy next time. Maybe a slightly darker gray.
Update (4) 8' fluorescents to electronic ballasts!
Update cabinets. As a shorter term solution, installed RubberMaid brand stuff…Would like to update to Lista stuff.
