Hi Everyone.
The year before last I started a discussion on what was the best size garage or shed to put up for my bike. It was on a Goldwing forum as I have a Goldwing. I knew it would be a few years before I could do it so I thought and planed out as much of it as I could. There were quite a bit comments and suggestions that came my way. I asked people here about some ideas here and basically laid low and read quite a bit. Here are my results...
Well, early last spring, with the great help from my best friend Chris we started to remove the trees where I was going to build this Hallow structure. Chris also laid the brick on the front as he is an excellent mason.
I am so proud of our second little home that I wanted to show you guys. I say "Our" because my wife and I spend time out there together. A great place to sit and chat with friends. It's a little gathering / party spot away from the kids when we want "Mon and Dad" time with friends and neighbors.
It's a 20x24 garage, heated, fully insulated top to bottom, Internet, Digital Cable, 60 Amp Panel, room for two bikes or more , tones of storage, and has a great 12 foot bench. There is a few other things I will be doing to it but for all intents and purposes... it's finished.
We broke it in with a huge New Years Eve party for the neighbors and friends.
This is what I started with. This is what I was storing my bike in for the last number of years. A concrete floor and a portable garage. It made it through a few winters but I had bigger and better plans....
