Let's get right to it. The only thing I know less about than wood working is how to navigate a forum. I've started an epoxy river table. I've poured the river, cleaned it up some and now I'm to the point where I need to "level" the surface. I do not want to build, buy or otherwise use a router sled if I don't have to. I am considering just pouring a (thick) top coat to even out the surface. I have an approximate 1/8" to 3/16" dip the follows the river the length of the table. Is this practical?
