Hi gents (ladies?), I am a new member to this forum, having seen it on the HMVF where I am a member as well. Hoping to learn alot on this forum as I do have a garage (110 square meters) but it is a mess from al the (s)**** being stored in it. My problem is that I simply cannot let a (potentially) useble item go the the gas axe, hence this cluttered garage. After I closed my metal business (Safety gates, driveway gates, balustrading, etc. ), I had to store all the equipment in my garage, 90% of it in a working condition with some items still requiring restoration, eg, radial arm drill and a hydraulic press. i love tinkering hence a lot of projects are still incomplete.
The other love of my life is my replica Cobra and a replica GT 40 on which I have been working on and off for the last 12 years. Constant mods are keeping me from completing it!! and I am supposed to be a project manager!! I love Ford V8 engines and probably have around 22 to 25 in pieces! All of them are either from the Windsor or the Cleveland family ranging from the 221CI to the mighty 4V 351C closed chamber heads.
The reason for being a member of HMVF is a Saracen 88 (yes, that right!) to be completed, stuck in 3rd gear, some bevelbox seals leaking and an epicyclic gearbox on one wheel totally stripped, hydraulic pump requiring attention but other wise repainted with the engine in good condition.
Enough for now.
Regards.
