Hello....just wanted to say hi. I found this board a couple of weeks ago and have already learned a lot!
I live in East Tennessee roughly half-way between Knoxville and Chattanooga.
I started building my garage at the beginning of the summer. It is a 30x42 with an 18' x8' garage door and 10' ceilings. The concrete is poured (hired it done) and have completed the knee-walls around the perimeter made from two rows of concrete blocks and a concrete cap-blocks.
I am working on finishing up the sitework and getting ready to order lumber and other supplies in the coming weeks.
It is slow-going doing yourself, but it sure is fun!
