Garage will be heated, but not this year.

I purchased kraft backed insulation for the walls, some are ripped and have slits in the paper backing, do i need to tape this up and if so with what?

I see it does say it is a vapor retardant.

My next question, do I plastic over the entire wall since im using the kraft backed stuff? Or do I omit the plastic due to the paper backing?

If you're using kraft faced stuff you don't need the plastic. That's only if you're using unfaced insulation.

Perfect! Glad we didn’t use any and just covered the Kraft faced stuff!

For sure. A lot of it is preference these days. Some people like using unfaced and plastic and some people prefer the faced and being able to staple it. I'm a kraft faced kind of person.
