IR 2131 yard sale find

Scored me a lightly used IR 2131 for $20 at a yard sale this weekend:



I haven't hooked it up to my compressor yet so I don't know how well it runs or if it needs a rebuild, but for $20 I couldn't pass it up. It was only used by a homeowner in his garage so it must be in half decent shape.

I have a 2131QT that I bought new 10 years ago for around $250 and I use it occasionally for lug nuts, so I'm familiar with this particular model. I wasn't in the market for another impact (unless it's a cordless impact) but I needed something to show for my morning of yard-saling.

What say ye?

Just looking at it I doubt it needs a rebuild. You got a real deal.

Yeah I think I paid $180 for my 2131 around '03 at Harbor Freight. Not kidding, HF used to sell IR. It's still going today.
