Was offered a 2135ti for 45$, Seems cheap but the gun is used and looks fairly beat. Thoughts on common failures and price point?

Depends on how used and beat it is. I bought a well worn 2135 for $35 and after I rebuild it I'll be at the cost of a very nice looking/working used 2135.
But my gun needs a new anvil in addition to a rebuild.

Whats wrong with the anvil? Cracked on the inside?

Sounds good to me. You can get almost all the parts to rebuild it. I say almost because the one part you can't get is the titanium housing and guess what part I managed to break on mine? I got dropped by my apprentice (otherwise known as a blind drunk monkey on crack!) and he didn't tell me, I had to find out on my own. I bought a new gun (and NOBODY gets to borrow it!!!), but kept the old one for parts.
