Need information on this tool. If you own, have owned or have used an IR 2141 please post your thoughts, good, bad, indifferent. How well did it Perform; How long did it last; did it need servicing, if so, how frequently; How comfortable was it to use, weight, feel; Anything you can share about your experience with this tool will be helpful for my evaluation.

Only past or current users only please...I don't care how much you liked your air-cat (POS) or Snap-On (Brick) impacts. Just the facts please

I have the craftsman version. Best gun I've owned. A lot of low end guts. Not very noisy. Even tho its a plastic case, its very solid feeling.

Best 3/4" gun I've seen. I use mine as much as a car mechanic uses their 1/2" gun, so daily at least. I've had zero problems with it. Couple drops of oil everyday and away she goes. I really like the compact size, helps a lot with clearance issues.

Landmesser has the best prices around on them.

I have 2141 synthetic and dad has a 261 that is a year or two older than mine. I run a 1/2" milton coupler on a 3/4" line to feed mine and use dad's on the regular 3/8 line so I don't have to get the big hose out all the time. It has plenty of power and will do most things an inch long gun will do. On the same hose, couplers and nuts, mine will break loose what his won't.

Thanks for posting the question, I'm doubting you'll have much complaints about the gun. I am thinking about buying the 2141 in the future so I perked up when I saw this thread.

For those who have replied, does anyone run a swivel with this gun? I run one with my 2135 and 2115 and I love the Matco swivels I put on them. I found some swivels that will fit the 2141, I just don't know how they will affect performance?

Any thoughts on this?

I bought mine used, its a beast. Keep it oiled, keep fresh grease in the impact and it will hammer hard for years. Use a real 1/2 air line to get the max power out of it, it needs lots of air for max performance.

Nothing much else to say.
