I just got an email from Tooltopia saying this is $279 with free shipping. Is this the everyday price or is this something to jump on? Does anyone here have one of these? How do you like it?

Got it cheaper on Amazon I think, Ebay for sure. Not by much, but that is not a super deal. Gun is great, there are some threads on here about it.

Thats a pretty good deal, about the lowest you will find. I shopped all over a few months ago when I got mine, cheapest place at the time was amazon, $282 with prime. The gun is a beast, no complaints at all.

Is it worth it going for the quiet version? It looks like one place has the quiet version for $20 more and then the rest are around $60 more.

I compared the quiet and the normal and rather have the power,

I got mine with a cover and I think it was $280...

As far as the gun goes, its stronger than my 3.4 gun and really nice to use, although since I started using my 2115 I hate having to pick the 1/2" gun up, lol..

I'm leaning towards the more power too. It won't be used for long periods of time so brief noise is all I will have.

I beat my Mack parts guy down to $300. all in, no tax, out the door for mine last fall,....
It's No doubt the most kick-azz impact I've used in my decades of wrenchin',....

Changed a front tire on a backhoe in the dead of winter with it, without havin' to break out Big Burtha, my 1" IR industrial impact,.....
Tire hadn't been off in years,....
Only hada heat, 'n quench 1 of the 6 lug nuts,...

Yes the boot is a bit tricky to get a hold of but I have had mine for a bit now...
