I've had my 2235timax for a bit over a year now and I seemed to have snapped the anvil. Anyways my local repair shop says they can't get parts for 10 to 12 weeks I'm looking for suggestions as to where to order a anvil sooner or if there's another anvil kit that will work. I love this gun and use it daily but don't really want to buy another $300 gun

Thanks for the quick responses ordered from ebay. Anyone ever replace one any other parts I should replace in there since I'm in it.

How old is it? It's super easy to replace and/or rebuild, so if its got some mileage a rebuild might be worth it.

How did you break it?

If it broke during normal use and not dropped etc.. i would try for a warranty claim if possible.

It's about 2 years old and it broke while working no impact damage to it. So the tune up kit looks promising I have one ordered. Anybody taken one of these apart the tool repair shop I deal with is saying I need a special fixture to hold the hammer assembly but when I've taken it apart to clean and grease before I just take the nose piece off and never noticed anything just loosey goosey in there

I think you need to ditch that repair shop, they are pretty simple to take apart.;)

I've had no problems with them before doing warranty work on all my Milwaukee stuff it's just between this and they "repaired" my 1inch speedaire gun and it doesn't seem as strong as it was I'm not sure pnuematics are going to be going through them any more.
